For Internet-archaeological reasons, and for the above resources, this page stays up.
But the following image gives you a hint what happens if you try to follow the subscribe instructions:

Subcription/unsubscription/info requests should always be sent
to propaganda-request@lege.net.

To subscribe to the mailinglist, simply send a message with the
word  "subscribe"  in the Subject: field to
propaganda-request@lege.net.

To unsubscribe from the mailinglist, simply send a message with
the word (you guessed it :-)  "unsubscribe"  in the Subject:
field to propaganda-request@lege.net.

In the event of an address change, send an email to
propaganda-request@lege.net with  "change email address"  or
something to that effect in the Subject: field.  I'll do this
manually and I will tell you when it is done!

To post to the list itself, send the post to propaganda@lege.net.

                        The archive server
                        ------------------
There is also an archive server.  Every submission sent to
propaganda@lege.net is archived.

You can look at the header of every mail coming from this list
to see under what name it has been archived.  The
X-Mailing-List: field contains the mailaddress of the list and
the file in which this submission was archived.

If you want to access this archive, you have to send mails to
propaganda-request@lege.net with the word "archive" as the first
word of your Subject:.  To get you started try sending a mail to
propaganda-request@lege.net with the following:
                Subject: archive help
