Amazing story! I agree with what one blogger said (on a different site): The next time some neocon fool writes me and says: "Our troops in Iraq are fighting so that morons like you can express your traitorous views" I'm going to refer them to Guardsman Clark.

The WTI : World Tribunal on Iraq (see http://life.lege.net/viewtopic.php?p=52#52 ) recommend among other things that soldiers exercise conscience and refuse to enlist and participate in an illegal war. Also that countries provide conscientious objectors political asylum. It is high time for decent people worldwide to assist freedom-loving Americans, who don't want to be part of crimes against humanity! Unfortunately, this time, most of the world seem to have been corrupted along with the U.S.. Perhaps Spain and Italy are among the exceptions? Any other truly freedom-loving countries out there? (Forget Sweden, the politicians are "with the program" here.)

Actually, England is going to outlaw watching the wrong web pages. Pages "glorifying" the resistance (or, as they call it, "terrorism"), is going to be criminal to view. So, later this year it might be criminal for a brit to surf this site, because of The Press Release and Jury Statement of the "Jury of Conscience World Tribunal on Iraq" at http://life.lege.net/viewtopic.php?p=52#52. Why? Because the jury are saying that it's the coalition that are the war criminals - based on law - and that it's the Iraqi Resistance that have the law on their side. And we all know that the war criminals themselves see it the other way around. They see the Resistance as "terrorists", and hence anyone who points out that the people they call "terrorists" have the law on their side will in this paradigm be perceived as glorifying terrorism... Soon we will all either be branded "terrorists" or we will be war criminals. Read Orwell's 1984 and do it NOW. Tomorrow it may be too late. This is the English article in The Independent: http://news.independent.co.uk/uk/politics/article299457.ece

In the Swedish part of this forum, in post http://life.lege.net/viewtopic.php?p=59#59 , there is a link to Swedish television where the parents of 23-year old Iraq war veteran Jeff is interviewed. Jeff came home from Iraq but soon hanged himself because he couldn't live with having carried out one of his orders: To execute two young unarmed Iraqi men. So Jeff hanged himself in the garden hose, and found peace at last. His family want him to be officially counted as a casualty of the Iraq war. The direct link to the TV snippet is http://svt.se/svt/road/Classic/shared/mediacenter/index.jsp?&d=39132&a=419423 and if you just ignore the speaker you can listen to the parents speaking American English. Just imagine if this boy had been taught to disobey illegal orders. Would he then have been alive today?
